Ali Standish’s yet-to-be-released book series “The Improbable Tales Of Baskerville Hall” is being adapted into a series by Imagine Kids + Family. And this has to be one of the fastest book adaptations we have ever seen! The book series creates origin stories for many of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional characters. The series plans to build upon that to create an integrated universe that will cover all of Doyle’s works.

“The Improbable Tales Of Baskerville Hall” series follows a young Doyle, as he leaves home to attend Baskerville Hall, which is school for the extraordinarily gifted. There he seeks to solve the many mysteries of the area with the help of his new classmates and teachers. During his adventure, he will meet the characters that become the basis for his many famous novels like Professor Sherlock Holmes and his associate Dr. Watson. While at Baskerville Hall, uncovers a mystery that leads to a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that springboards to the creation of the inter-connected universe of the writer’s work.

“Brimming with rich mystery, puzzle-filled plots, and classic and beloved characters reimagined for the contemporary reader, this captivating world is perfectly crafted for the middle-grade audience, and we are so thrilled to be launching this publishing franchise that will appeal to a new generation of sleuths and adventurers,” Executive Editor for HarperCollins Children’s Books Alyson Day said.

This entire project is a collaboration between Working Partners, a subsidiary of the Coolabi Group of companies, and The Conan Doyle Estate. His estate are the official guardians of the works of the Arthur Conan Doyle franchise. “We have long discussed the idea of bringing all of our great ancestor, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s brilliant characters, not just Sherlock Holmes, into the limelight – effectively creating a new fictional universe,” Richard Pooley, step-great grandson of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, said in a press release. “A dream came true when Working Partners proposed that the Conan Doyle Estate work with them in creating The Improbable Tales of Baskerville Hall.”

“The Improbable Tales of Baskerville Hall” book one is expected to be released in the fall of 2023. The second in fall 2024, and the third in fall 2025. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
