Warner Bros. is backing a remake of the 2017 Argentine supernatural horror movie, Terrified (Aterrados). It’s just been confirmed that Emmy-winner Noah Hawley (Fargo and Alien: Earth) will direct the feature. Hawley is also producing the project under his 26 Keys banner.
This remake is being developed with the writer and director of the original film, Demián Rugna.

Terrified is set in a neighborhood in Buenos Aires where strange things keep happening. A doctor specializing in the paranormal, her colleague, and an ex police officer decide to get to the bottom of what’s going on.
Hawley’s version is being presented as a reimagining, but it’s unclear at this time how the story will be altered. Plot details are under wraps at this time.
We’ll keep you posted on updates about the Terrified remake as the project develops.
