The Wicked Witch is getting a fluffy makeover courtesy of Plushie Dreadfuls. The company has just launched an Oz Collection by Victorian McGee. Putting a fuzzy new spin on this beloved story.

Plushie Dreadfuls toys specifically focus on promoting emotional well–being, empathy, and acceptance in its products. Each plushie is “acting as a symbolic companion for unspoken emotions.” These dolls are comforting companions that actively encourage individuals to identify and explore their inner emotions. The Oz Collection is a celebration of the emotional journey each character must undertake.

    The Oz Collection:

    • The (not so) Wicked Witch of the West – Has been reimagined as a cute little bunny. She’s fully embracing her wicked era with confidence, poise, and a fetching green hat. Her purple ears glow to show her inner pride and self-acceptance. These plushies are made with contrasting colors to show the beauty in her complexity. She can defy gravity because she believes in herself.
    • Dorothy and Toto – This farm girl has turned into a rabbit, with her trusty skeleton pup in tow. Despite their companionship, it hasn’t been an easy journey. Her stitched-up fur and stained dress show what she has survived. Her green “heart accents represent love, friendship, and the search for home.”
    • Tin Man and Heart Pup – The Tin Man has become an iron-clad bunny, and he’s gotten his wish, a heart. A new companion to show empathy and love. His sparkly hot pink funnel hat and collar remind everyone to stay open.
    • Scarecrow and Brain Pup – The most stitched up of the bunch, the Scarecrow sports button eyes, patchwork ears, and has straw bursting from the seams. Thankfully, he got his wish of a brain pup to show perspective and wisdom.
    • Cowardly Lion and Courage Dragon – A small, terrified, keychain plushie is accompanied by a Courage Dragon to protect them. Made up of a soft patchwork of green and yellow fur with velvety grey wings, he is as pretty as he is fierce.

    Thoughts On The New Line

“The stories of Oz resonate deeply with people of all ages. We can see ourselves in the flaws, struggles, and triumphs of the characters,” says American McGee, Creator and Founder of Plushie Dreadfuls. “As we celebrate these timeless stories of defying gravity and finding our place with the new release of Wicked: For Good, it’s important to explore the emotions the film stirs up. These plushies provide the perfect channel to reflect on personal and emotional journeys we all face.”
