    “Goonies never say die!”

And doubly so when they are in LEGO form! Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan, who played Data in “The Goonies,” is partnering with the LEGO Group to craft a set based on the iconic 80s film. This 2,912-piece diorama model is sure to bring hours of treasure-hunting fun.

As a bonus, the Oscar-winning actor also did an adorably meta video walk-through of the build. Quan shows where the booby traps are hidden, along with plenty of fun easter eggs, including a nod to the deleted octopus scene.

“The Goonies” LEGO set includes recreations of several memorable locations, like the Fratellis’ hideaway and caves, and One-Eyed Willy’s treasure room. Flipping the completed model over will even reveal the wreckage of the Inferno pirate ship.

But what are cool locations without friends? This set includes 12 minifigures of beloved characters like Data, Mikey, Mouth, Chunk, and Andy.

    Quan’s Tour

“Revisiting Data after all these years – but this time in LEGO form – has been such a joyful experience,” says Quan. “The Goonies was all about heart, adventure, and friendship, and this set captures that spirit in fantastic detail. From the booby traps to the treasure room, it’s like stepping back into the tunnels with the gang – only now, I get to share that magic with a whole new generation of fans.”
