After 9 seasons, ABC’s hit comedy “Scrubs” went off the air in 2010, and fans have been clamoring for more ever since. Thankfully, the long-anticipated reboot finally has a straight-to-series order for the 2025-2026 season. The best part is that stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke will reprise their roles!
They will join the previously announced Judy Reyes, Ken Jenkins, John C. McGinley, and Neil Flynn.

This reboot series will see besties JD (Braff) and Turk (Faison) scrub in together for the first time in a while. Despite the changes in medicine and interns, their bromance has stood the test of time. We will see new and familiar faces around the halls of Sacred Heart Hospital with laughter, heart, and surprises along the way.
Behind the scenes, Tim Hobert and Aseem Batra return as executive producers and showrunners alongside original series creator Bill Lawrence (“Shrinking“). Braff, Faison, Chalke, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer will also executive produce.
“‘Scrubs’ means so very much to me. So excited for the chance to get the band back together,” Lawrence said.
There is currently no set release date for the “Scrubs” reboot. We’ll keep you posted on updates as the project develops. The original series is currently streaming on Hulu and Amazon Prime.
