We’re already deep into convention season, and you know what that means: San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2025 will soon be upon us. Global juggernaut Disney Entertainment Television has confirmed their downtown takeover with various activations. There will also be panels for shows like “Percy Jackson,” “Alien: Earth,” “King Of The Hill,” “Abbott Elementary,” and more!

Some of these SDCC events are outside and open to the public beginning July 24th. Including:

    • “Abbott Elementary” – this hit ABC series will be welcomed back to SDCC with “A Very Abbott Block Party.” Attendees can enjoy authentic Philly water ice paired with waterfront views from a Ferris wheel.
    • “Alien: Earth” – FX’s upcoming show will be there to transport fans with an immersive experience on the Hilton Bayfront Lawn. Explore the mysterious wreckage of the USCSS Magino, complete with interactive thrills and never-before-seen aliens. During the day, this exhibit will be called “The Wreckage,” but once the sun goes down, it becomes the thrilling “The Wreckage: Code Red.”
    • “Percy Jackson & The Olympians” – with its 2nd season just around the corner, DET is inviting guests to peek at the world of Rick Riordan’s second novel, “Sea of Monsters.” Positioned at Fifth Ave and L St, this experience will give fans a chance to see through the mist. Telling them which of the gods they’ve been claimed by.
    • “King Of The Hill” – Hulu will be celebrating the upcoming August 4th release of this long-gestating reboot. The Convention Center in the Bayfront’s Parking Lot A will become the Hill’s backyard for a Texas-style BBQ. And where there is good food, there is fun, like lawn games, themed photo ops, and cold cans of Alamo (water).
