Noah Hawley’s “Alien: Earth” Gets Intense in Official Clip

Are you as excited about FX’s upcoming “Alien: Earth” as we are? The cabler released a chilling clip for the Noah Hawley (“Fargo”) written and directed series. It tells the story of Wendy (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers who find a mysterious space vessel that crash-lands on Earth.

The clip opens on a spaceship in the middle of some serious chaos. Morrow (Babou Ceesay) sits at a desk while telling some unknown party that the “specimens are loose.” We then see a female crew member trapped behind a door begging to be let in. Morrow ignores her pleas and constant banging on the door by nonchalantly humming a tune to himself.

Then we see her be off-screen, so presumably, killed by a xenomorph. After which Morrow’s chat partner asks, “Crew status?” To which he coldly responds, “Crew Dead,” before we see “Impact Point: Earth” appear on screen.

The footage cuts to shots of Wendy intercut with footage of a group of soldiers advancing through a field with weapons drawn. Everything closes out the way all good “Alien” franchise clips should, with a xenomorph about to do its thing.

Chandler and Ceesay star alongside Alex Lawther (“Andor“), Timothy Olyphant (“Justified“), Samuel Blenkin (“Black Mirror“), David Rysdahl (“No Exit“), Essie Davis (“The Matrix Revolutions“), Adarsh Gourav (“The White Tiger“), Diem Camille (“The Wheel of Time“), Moe Bar-El (“The Peripheral“), Erana James (“The Wilds“), and Kit Young (“Shadow and Bone“). Hawley and franchise creator Ridley Scott are executive producers for “Alien: Earth.”

“Alien: Earth.” is slated to hit Hulu and Disney+ sometime this summer. We’ll keep you posted on updates about the show as they become available. You can check out the new clip below:
