If you’re a frequent visitor of Nerdbot, then you know there are some projects and topics that we’re especially fond of. We’ve got our fondness for NASA, Stephen King adaptations, and “Frasier.” But one of the upcoming shows we’re particularly looking forward to is Apple TV+’s adaptation of the classic cyberpunk novel, “Neuromancer.”
The William Gibson classic series chronicles the tale of a man named Case who is tasked by a man named Armitage to perform an elaborate heist. We already know Callum Turner is playing Case, and now we know who’s playing Armitage.

Mark Strong (“Dune: Prophecy,” “The Penguin“) will be taking on the role of Armitage.
Along with Strong and Turner, Briana Middleton will play Molly. Molly partners with Case in his quest of digital infiltration and theft.
Graham Roland and JD Dillard co-created the series. The show’s been cooking for a while and Apple’s streaming platform has been absolutely killing it with original programming lately.
We really want this to turn out well. “Neuromancer” is one of those novels that defined a subgenre, and it’s not often you get the chance to hand out that kind of accolade. Though there is a bit of irony in the fact that one of the biggest tech companies in the world will be airing one of the most prominent pieces of anti-corporate literature of the modern era. Is that a sign?
It doesn’t have a release date yet, but we do know they’ve already been filming for a few weeks. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
