“Harley Quinn” Leaves Gotham in Season 5 Trailer

MAX has released the first trailer for season 5 of the DC Comics animated hit “Harley Quinn.” This season will see Harley (Kaley Cuoco) and Ivy (Lake Bell) ditch Gotham City- and menacing Batman- for Metropolis and all things Superman.

This is because, according to Harley, “Gotham’s really gone to shit.”

After Ivy accepts a job running the Metropolis Green Initiative from Lena Luthor (Aisha Tyler), the villainess couple realizes their new town isn’t as perfect as it appears. So they call in the old gang of misfits to lend a hand.

Ivy dealing with the Luthors after the events of season 4 seems to be the last nail in the coffin for the “Gotham City Sirens” storyline. However, showrunner Dean Lorey says that the remaining threads from last season, like what happened to Nightwing, will be resolved.

“I wanted to get the old gang back together and get a little back to basics,” Lorey told TVLine. “So it’s a different season, it’s a bit more focused, and it has a lot of new stuff but with the same group.”

“Harley Quinn” seasons 1-4 are currently streaming on MAX. Season 5 hits January 16th, 2025. New episodes will debut weekly every Thursday through March 20. You can check out the new trailer below:
