Are you ready to return to the Wasteland? We sure are! Emmy-nominee Walton Goggins has confirmed cameras are already rolling on season 2 of Prime Video’s “Fallout” series. Getting the news straight from the Ghoul himself is a pretty solid source, honestly.

“Back in the saddle… #Deux,” Goggins posted. “Gatdamn it feels good to slip on this skin. I do this shit for the love of the Game.” Accompanied by a picture of him in a detailed latex mask that he sports to play The Ghoul on the show.

The series is based on a video game franchise of the same name. It takes place in 2296, 219 years after the nuclear war of 2077 which killed off most of humanity. The show focuses on three protagonists: The Ghoul (Goggins), Lucy (Ella Purnell), and Maximus (Aaron Moten). We watch as the trio attempts to survive the chaotic and unpredictable wasteland that North American has become.

Theoretically, season 2 will tie into the events portrayed in the 2010 video game “Fallout: New Vegas.”

The second season of “Fallout” is expected to hit Amazon Prime Video sometime in 2026. We’ll keep you posted on updates about the new season as they become available.
