After a rocky road to production, “Snowpiercer” has gotten an official trailer for its fourth and final season. AMC picked up the series after TNT canceled it following season 3. And if the trailer is any indication, this will be the most intense storyline yet.

“Snowpiercer” takes place more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland. The remnants of humanity inhabit a perpetually moving train called Big Alice, which has 1001 cars and circles the globe. But the more things change the more they stay the same and the fall of civilization hasn’t whipped out class warfare or social injustice. All of which are still running rampant onboard the locomotive.
The show is based on the graphic novel series of the same name by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, and the 2015 film directed by Oscar-winner Bong Joon Ho (“Parasite”).

Season 4 Cast
The “Snowpiercer” series stars Jennifer Connelly, Sean Bean (“Game of Thrones“), Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Tony Award winners Lena Hall and Daveed Diggs (“Hamilton“), Sam Otto, Chelsea Harris, Mike O’Malley, Roberto Urbina, and Sheila Vand. Alongside cast newcomers Clark Gregg (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) and Michael Aronov.

Season 4 is produced by Tomorrow Studios and CJ Entertainment. “Snowpiercer” is executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski, Christoph Schrewe; Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, and Alissa Bachner for Tomorrow Studios. Along with Matthew O’Connor, Ben Rosenblatt, and Scott Derrickson. As well as the film’s producers Joon Ho, Miky Lee, Jinnie Choi, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun, and Dooho Choi.
The final season of “Snowpiercer” will premiere on July 21st, exclusively on AMC and AMC+. You can check out the official trailer below:
