Homelander Does Reddit AMA, Things Get SUPER Meta

Prime Video’s hit show “The Boys” did a delightfully meta promotion for its recently launched 4th season. On June 14th, everyone’s favorite superhero/villain Homelander, did an Ask Me Anything (AMA) thread on Reddit. He spoke with his fellow patriots about everything from Jesus to OnlyFans, to what Jeffrey Epstein was like.

Based on a comic book co-created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, “The Boys” follows a group of vigilantes who set out to take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their powers. Homelander (Antony Starr) runs a group of superheroes called The Seven, owned by Vought International. His leadership style is described as machiavellian and he is known for making some morally reprehensible choices.

Now that Homelander’s “trial” was over, he was able to carve out some time with fans to answer their many questions. Speaking “direct from me, not Vought PR. No script, no filter, no corrupt media twisting my words,” the announcement reads.

    The Seven

“Homelander do you really need the seven why don’t you go solo,” user sgt_sheild asked.

“The Seven’s not just a team, it’s a family,” Homelander explains. “And I may sit at the head of the table, but… look, even Jesus had disciples.”

It’s unclear at this time if he has ever even heard the phrase “god complex.”

    OnlyFans

“Homelander only fans when,” queried user justanotheruser1010.

“Look, I don’t want to be responsible for breaking the entire internet,” Homelander responded. “But if it ever did happen, it would be on SupePorn Platinum (use discount code HOMELANDER for 15% off your first month).”

If any of our 18+ readers have ever wanted to see a superhero’s dong that isn’t glowing bright blue, here’s your chance.

    Jeffrey Epstein

“Can you comment on the rumors of you being on Epstein’s Island,” asked user castanon74.

“Those flight manifests were clearly doctored – why would I take a private plane when I can fly,” the superhero questioned. “For what it’s worth, Jeffrey was a dear friend and a major Vought shareholder. I’ll miss his cabana parties — he made the best homemade focaccia.”

So Homelander going to Epstein Island is now canon for “The Boys.” To be fair, we did say morally reprehensible choices.

    Fatherhood

But superhero antics weren’t the only thing on fans’ minds. Homelander is also a single father to his son Ryan. “Homelander, you are such an incredible father to Ryan! What tips do you have for raising a successful child as a single father,” asked user IHateCoconuts47.

“I want Ryan to have a totally normal childhood, like I had,” he answered “You know, flying to a baseball game. Enjoying a creamy milkshake together. Bringing him to the set of one of my films, bringing him abroad to take down terrorist camps — normal dad stuff. But America also needs him to be strong — a true hero holds the weight of the world on his shoulders, he can’t be some simpering, needy baby. Oh, and we always close out the day with a round of Vought Tournament of Heroes. Out now on VS5!”

You can check out the rest of the AMA including some NSFW responses here. “The Boys” season 4 is streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
