I had been window shopping at Displate for a while when I was fortunate enough to have Displate reach out to me to see if I wanted to review their new Textra poster designs. Their normal selection includes Matte, Gloss, with frame and without. This product is different because on top of being beautifully made right out of the box it’s textured so that the light shines on it and makes it really pop.

I had a design sent for my daughter’s room who’s into weird core stuff right now, so the anime witch and octopus riding a bus really stood out to me.

The quality of the print was perfect. The colors are vibrant and the texture on the print makes it look like it’s about to come alive. Like a cartoon is just going to start moving around. The installation process was incredibly easy because you just have to prep an area of the wall, put up the masking tape square they give you and stick the magnet on top of that.

I had my daughter do it from start to finish and it took about 3 minutes. She’s 9-years-old so knowing she could do it so easily immediately wanted to make me order more. Especially because once the magnets are up they’re interchangeable. All you need to make sure is that you have the required amount of magnets for the poster behind it. Hers was the small size so she only needed one. I’m excited to get her some more so that she can rearrange her art however she likes.

These Textra posters are worth every penny. Textra is the next evolution of the company’s classic metal posters with a proprietary 3D finish. Textra elevates existing Displate designs with 3D contouring effects, selective gloss and matte finishes, and enticing texture to make the art in your home come alive.

Textra is available in more than 250 unique designs starting at $69. Click on the link below to browse Displate’s expansive collection of metal posters now!
