Rumors have been swirling about who will check in for season 3 of HBO’s hit series “The White Lotus.” Created by Mike White, the black comedy anthology series has been something of a cultural touchstone since it first premiered in 2021. It’s won countless awards, including a very deserved Emmy and Golden Globe win for Jennifer Coolige in the role of Tanya.

We already knew Natasha Rothwell was returning as Belinda for season 3, but we now know who will be joining her for the third outing of “The White Lotus.” As reported by Variety, expect to see comedy icon Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs (“Star Trek: Discovery”), Michelle Monaghan, and Tayme Thapthimthong (“Skin Trade”).

There really isn’t anything else concrete about season 3 yet, and fans are already excited about seeing what far away exotic location we’ll see rich guests behaving badly at next. There have been some indications it may be set in Thailand.

You can catch seasons 1 and 2 of “The White Lotus” on MAX now. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.

    UPDATE

As of January 9th, HBO has also announced Carrie Coon as joining the cast!

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
