After getting a good night’s sleep, you feel rested and prepared to take on the day. Even a few uninterrupted hours of sleep can be a major accomplishment for some people, even though we typically take it for granted.

For those in Oklahoma seeking relief from insomnia through cannabis, securing a medical marijuana card is a crucial step to gain legal access to medicinal cannabis. To obtain an MMJ card, consulting with a medical marijuana doctor is the first and vital requirement.

Millions of people suffer from insomnia, a relatively common sleeping disorder that has a negative impact on the start, length, and quality of their sleep. There are numerous treatments available, and they all function to varying degrees. Cannabis, however, may support a person in coping with the condition along with a wide range of lifestyle adjustments.

An extensive variety of phytochemicals are present in cannabis. Over 100 cannabinoids—molecules largely exclusive to the herb—are among them. Most strains of cannabis contain the cannabinoids THC and CBN, which are well known for their capacity to calm the mind and aid smokers in unwinding at night.

But as recent research has demonstrated, terpenes are what support the distinctive effects of each cultivar. They work in concert with cannabinoids to modify their effects, and they also possess some remarkable qualities on their own. As we’ll demonstrate, some terpenes are stimulating and energizing while others are calming and relaxing. Additionally, these aromatic molecules are in charge of giving each strain its unique flavors and tastes.

    1. Haze Berry

Californians love Haze Berry, a treat made by fusing Blueberry and Haze. The outcome is a sweet strain with a distinct berry scent, powerful genetics, and a well-balanced, calming stone that is best smoked in the evening when you want to unwind and relax.

The aroma of Haze Berry is, as you might have guessed, heavily berry-focused, but it also has distinct Haze undertones that blend spicy citrus and earthy notes. Additionally, this strain has a high concentration of pinene, which enhances its mood-enhancing effects. Haze Berry has a flavor that is very sweet, with strong berry aromas on the inhale and a subtle but distinct spicy aftertaste. Her effects start out upbeat, evoking the Haze she was bred from, but quickly change into a calming body stone that will get you ready for a good night’s sleep.

Haze Berry cultivation is a real treat. Her characteristics are primarily sativa-like, and her plants can grow up to 2 meters tall and take 9 to 11 weeks to flower. Haze Berry will be loaded with dense, frosty buds when it’s time to harvest, up to 575g/m2 indoors and 650g/plant outdoors.

    1. White Widow

One of the most well-known cannabis strains in the world is undoubtedly White Widow. This hardy cultivar is cherished not only for her abundant supplies of rock-hard buds, but also for her potent stone, which stimulates your mind and stimulates your sense of community before calming your entire body.

White Widow’s precise origins are still unknown, but we do know that it first appeared in the Netherlands in the 1990s, where it was a huge success in coffee shops. Her seductive scent combines earthy, woodsy, and herbal notes with a subtle spicy kick. Her flavors are also very earthy, and they leave a long-lasting spicy, herbal aftertaste on the tongue. White Widow causes an initial euphoria that could inspire your creativity and desire for conversation. It contains high levels of the terpene myrcene and contains about 19% THC. However, shortly after, a wave of calmness will sweep over your body, leaving you in a contented and profoundly soothed state, prepared for a peaceful nap.

In addition to her fantastic flavor and aroma and strong effects, White Widow is adored for her reliable growth characteristics. Plants are small and grow to heights of about 60 to 100 cm indoors. Outdoor White Widow plants, on the other hand, can reach heights of 150–190 cm as they develop into robust, bushy plants with numerous bud sites. During her 8–10 week flowering period, White Widow produces 450–500g/m2 indoors and 550–600g/plant outdoors.

    1. Watermelon

The genetics of the original Watermelon OG (also known as Watermelon Kush) are carried over into Watermelon, a more recent addition to the Royal Queen Seeds collection. This strain has a sweet aroma of tropical fruit, as her name suggests, and a high THC content.

She has a potent aroma that combines sweet watermelon notes with hints of citrus, grapes, and tropical fruits thanks to the watermelon’s rich terpene profile. Her subtle hash undertones might also be detectable with a trained nose. Similar to other fruits, sweet fruit overtones dominate the flavor of watermelon, with more subdued earth and citrus notes coming through on the exhale. The effects of watermelon, which can contain up to 22% THC, begin in the head and spread throughout your body. About an hour before going to bed, light her up as you relax on the couch and get ready for a long, restorative night’s sleep.

Her strong and well-balanced genetics allow Watermelon to perform admirably both indoors and outdoors and flower in just 7-8 weeks. She can grow neatly and compactly indoors, reaching heights of approximately 80–130 cm and providing respectable yields of approximately 450–500 g/m2. Outdoor plants, however, can reach a height of 200 cm and yield 400–500g per plant.

    1. Legendary OG Punch

Have you ever enjoyed a subtle earthy flavor while smoking a joint? This flavor is supported by the terpene myrcene, and Legendary OG Punch contains a lot of it. Myrcene and a 19% THC concentration work together to create a stoning body high that calms the muscles and stops racing thoughts. Her buds also contain significant amounts of terpineol, which puts the icing on this relaxing experience.

This strain combines the best qualities of its parents, Purple Punch and Legend OG, as it is their offspring. In the blooming stage, she produces small, trichome-coated flowers and creates a lot of canopies. In the grow room, expect up to 400g/m2, and in the garden, 550g/plant. After only eight weeks of flowering, get ready to harvest these flowers.

If you’re looking to cultivate these strains on your Oklahoma property, it’s essential to have the necessary legal authorization. Acquiring legal access to medical marijuana consumption starts with obtaining a medical marijuana card Oklahoma. Additionally, you can apply for a grower’s license, enabling you to grow marijuana on your own property.
