The King of the Monsters is back in action in the new official trailer for “Godzilla Minus One!” This will be the 30th live-action film in Toho’s long-running kaiju franchise. It will also be the first Japanese-produced Godzilla film since 2016’s “Shin Godzilla.”

“Godzilla Minus One” is set in post-war Japan, with the trailer mostly focusing on our favorite atomic-age monster’s path of destruction. As well as the government and citizens fighting desperately to stop him. Because, as Blue Oyster Cult points out, history shows again and again, how nature points out the folly of men.

“From ‘zero’ to ‘minus.’ Survive and fight,” the trailer grimly states.

But if you just can’t wait that long, Pluto TV recently launched an ad-supported Godzilla Channel, that streams 24/7. Which offers several films that are currently unavailable on any other streaming platform.

We’ll keep you posted on news about “Godzilla Minus One” as it becomes available. You can check out the trailer below. From the looks of it, this new movie will deliver exactly what audiences expect from a kaiju film.

“Godzilla Minus One” is written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki (“Lupin III: The First”). It will debut in theaters in Japan on November 3rd, 2023. With a US release slated for December 1st, 2023.
