Disneyland’s newest eatery, the “Princes and the Frog” themed Tiana’s Palace, is set to open next month. One of the big things we’ve been looking forward to is finding out what things they’ll have on the menu. Well, get ready to have your taste buds tingle over these mouth-watering choices!

For entrées look no further than a New Orleans classic in the House Gumbo, served with braised chicken and Andouille sausage. There’s a plant-based alternative 7 Greens Gumbo, full of white beans, okra, yams, and sweet potatoes. You can even get the 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken and Andouille Sausage for a heartier meal. Each gumbo is served with a bed of heirloom rice. If you’re looking for extra spice, give the Cajun Spice Half Chicken a try. The chicken comes with baked macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and chicory BBQ sauce.

If you’re looking for a meal you can hold in your hands, Tiana cooked up some tasty sandwiches. The Muffuletta is full of mortadella, salami, rosemary ham, cheddar, provolone, and house-made olive relish on toasted sesame seed bread. The Beef Po-boy has slow-cooked beef covered in gravy and dressed with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise on toasted French bread. Each sandwich is served with red beans and rice, and house-made pickles. For seafood fans, try the Gulf Shrimp and Cheesy Grits.

Restaurant goers can also order buttermilk cornbread, baked macaroni and cheese, red beans and rice, coleslaw, and cheesy grits for side dishes. There is also a plant-based heirloom rice option for anyone with special dietary needs. Children will have their choice of Roasted Chicken Drumstick and rice, a Toasted Ham and Cheese sandwich, or Baked Macaroni and Cheese. Each kid’s meal comes with a mandarin orange, applesauce, and a choice of Dasani water, or small low-fat milk.

Any restaurant inspired by Princess Tiana could not exist without beignets. The House-filled Beignets have a lemon icebox pie filling and is topped with a lemon glaze. A new specialty drink is perfect for anyone needing a pick me up. Joffery’s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew is topped with sweet cream for coffee lovers visiting the restaurant. You can also get the Ray Firefly Glow Cube with purchase of the coffee (with a limit of 10 per person). If anyone wants to bring a piece of Tiana’s Palace home, look for the Lily Pad and Lotus Cup Ceramic.

From entrée to dessert, this entire menu is top notch. We can’t wait for Tiana’s Palace to open at Disneyland September 7th, 2023.
