Prime Video dropped the season 2 trailer for “Invincible” at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). Fans have waited over two years to learn what happened after the shocking betrayal and showdown of season 1. Stephen Yeun is back as Mark Grayson, who is trying to move forward as a superhero. Series creator Robert Kirkman is hoping this will be the last lengthy wait between seasons for the hit series.

This season is stacked with returning voice actors Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Grey DeLisle, Seth Rogan, and more. The trailer shows a long list of new voice actors joining the team like Daveed Diggs, Tatiana Maslany, Sterling K. Brown, and many more.

Season 2 seems to pick up with Mark missing significant life events, like his graduation, due to his duties as Invincible. The aftermath of Omni-man’s (Simmons) betrayal has placed a lot of distrust towards Mark and he struggles with clearing his name. He just wants to save lives with his allies, but other heroes want nothin to do with him. One hero, The Immortal (Ross Marquand), is going as far as to actually fight Mark.

Omni-man from “Invincible” | Prime Video

The trailer also hints at the series going beyond Earth to Viltrum, possibly even the first Viltrum on Viltrum battle since “The Great Purge.” As the trailer ends we get a look at Omni-man delivering one of the coldest lines ever said. “You should have died at birth.”

“Invincible” season 2 hits Prime Video November 3rd, 2023. The second half of season 2 should air in early 2024.
