Rock legends Aerosmith are saying “Peace Out” with a 2023-2024 North American farewell tour, featuring support from The Black Crowes. Formed in 1970, these Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have topped the charts off an on for over five decades.

While this is certainly the end of an era, “It’s not goodbye, it’s PEACE OUT,” the band said in a statement. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

The pun-fueled rockers also revealed that they would not be joined by their original drummer Joey Kramer. “While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health,” the band said. “Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”

Kramer’s drum tech, John Douglas, has been filling in for live shows. It is assumed he will continue to do so on the “Peace Out” tour but that has not been officially confirmed, yet.

The 40-date tour kicks off on September 2nd at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. It will wrap up on January 26th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on May 5th at 10am local time.
