Hidden in the “The Magnificent Seven” series reboot from Nic Pizzolatto news was a gem about one of our favorite movies also possibly getting a series. While just one line, buried in the initial news, it’s one we clung to. Amazon, after having purchased MGM, is apparently looking to turn “Robocop” into a tv series!
See how hidden that was? We almost missed it and that’s objectively some of the coolest news we’ve seen in a while for “Robocop.” That along with the game Robocop: Rogue City coming out September of this year with Peter Weller reprising the iconic role.
There’s nothing more satisfying than putting on the “Robocop” DVD and watching the masterpiece take shape. Along with the possibility of getting a series about Robocop, we have a ton of questions. Will Peter Weller somehow be involved? Will this be a reboot where they retell the story or maybe jump forward into the future of tech and see where we’re at now? There are so many ways this can play out it’s pretty exciting just to think about.
