Netflix has dropped an official trailer for season 2 of “Sweet Tooth.” Production for the second season wrapped up not long ago. We’ll finally get to see the continuation of Gus (Christian Convery) and “Big Man” Jeppard’s (Nonso Anozie) journey. We last left Gus in a pretty tense situation. Captured by the Last Men, Gus has found that he is no longer alone, meeting other hybrids. And realizing that they have a strength together that the humans don’t realize.

This season will give us a barrelful of hybrids by the look of it. Season 1 left Jeppard and Aimee (Dania Ramirez) desperate to get their hybrid kids back at all costs. Gus and Pig Tail will have to rally the other hybrids together to find a way to delay the Last Men from experimenting on them to find a cure for The Sick. No doubt these half-animal children will give the humans more than they bargained for.

There have been a lot of popular series lately that involve father-figures going to the ends of the earth to protect their charges. “The Last of Us“, “The Mandalorian“, etc. We’re so happy to see our “Big Man” Jeppard returning to Netflix to watch him bulldoze his way to Gus. Now determined to help him find his mother, protect the hybrid children, and find redemption for trying to abandon his own. So don your antlers and flannels, and get ready to binge in just ten days!

“Sweet Tooth” season 2 premieres April 27th, only on Netflix.
