After a slew of announcements like “Sex Education” star Ncuti Gatwa taking over the role of The Doctor, Yasmin Finney (“Heartstopper“) joining the cast, and the series headed to Disney+, the next season of “Doctor Who” has officially started filming.
We look forward to seeing what returning showrunner and lead writer Russell T. Davies has in store for us, and can’t help but wonder if we’ll see any more surprise cameos. We already know that David Tenant and Catherine Tate are on board for an appearance. Some other big names might be waiting in the wings as well.
Maybe even Anthony Hopkins will get his chance to step into the big blue box.
