McDonald’s has had its hands in a lot of pies over the years. They’ve appealed to children with toys, adults with nostalgia and charities. And of course, they please all with their food. But a previously untapped market has made a blip on the radar of the golden arches: Gamers. Which is why, in honor of the release of the crispy chicken sandwich in the UK, McDonald’s has presented gamers with a chance to win a throne as golden as their fries. We give you…the McCrispy.
There’s nothing super impressive about the shape. It’s your standard gamer chair. Boasting spurious “ergonomics,” it looks like they were pulled from a race car. It’s decked out in grease-proof leather so users can enjoy fries and nuggets without worry of staining. Enrobed in McDonald’s trademark yellow with “McCrispy” stamped across it, it’s reminiscent of the wrappers that encase their foods. Black accents keep it from being too gaudy.
Naturally, one can’t have a McCrispy gaming chair without a means of enjoying a McDonald’s meal while perched upon it. That’s why the chair comes outfitted with trays on either side. An aperture that perfectly fits an order of large fries, and the other a heating pad to keep your burgers nice and toasty while you play. And there are slots for sauces, drinks, and napkins. In case you were worried about a meal without accents.
This chair won’t be available for retail. According to McDonald’s, there’s ONE in existence. Only one lucky winner will receive the ungreasable throne to become the McCrispy gamer.
