Funko has unveiled its newest holiday collectable, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon version of Baby Yoda! Grogu, the adorable character from Disney +’s “The Mandalorian,” will fly in the 96th edition of the Thanksgiving tradition.
This limited-edition figure commemorates Grogu’s first flight in the Macy’s Day Parade. This lil guy even comes with the Funko team/balloon handlers who walked alongside the 41-foot high, 29-foot long, and 37-foot wide balloon. The handlers all wear series-inspired outfits, adding pop culture magic to the Parade for Funko and Star Wars fans in 2021. These vinyl bobbleheads are approximately 5.57-inches tall. In addition to the Grogu Pop! Funko is also dropping 2 new items of apparel. First is a playful graphic T-shirt also depicting the balloon version of the beloved character. It sports the words “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™ 2022.” Overtop an image of the baby Yoda balloon and its handlers. The team controlling the float is also all dressed in “The Mandalorian” styled vests and outfits. All while leaves, in fall shades, float along the parade route. The second item is a hoodie with different Grogu float artwork. This black pull-over hoodie features an adorable white print of Pop! Grogu in the parade but this time we are seeing him head-on. As if you were looking up at him as he soars above the parade route. This one also sports the text “2022 Grogu™ Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade™” with “Star Wars” and “The Mandalorian” logos off to the side of the design.
