“Good Omens” Season 2: Casting News, Release Date, Poster

Ready to hop back in The Bentley with Aziraphale and Crowley? It looks like we’re going to have a wild ride in “Good Omens” season 2 with new cast, AND an official release date! Michael Sheen and David Tennant of course both returning as the iconic characters.

Season 2 of “Good Omens” will reportedly be entirely new storyline. The first season covered the novel, “Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch,” written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Pratchett unfortunately passed in 2015, four years before the first season premiered. Gaiman wasn’t sure he wanted to do another season, but we’re glad he decided to.

According to Prime Video, season 2 will “explore storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the uncanny friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley. Having been on Earth since The Beginning and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery.”

Season 1 also stared Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Anna Maxwell Martin and Mireille Enos.

We can look forward to a continued relationship between the fallen angel and the (I guess) regular angel. There’s something going down with the up, and we’re ready for it. They’ve also added some new faces for season 2, like Maggie Service, Nina Sosanya, and Quelin Sepulveda.
