    “Joker 2” Most Likely Happening, Joaquin Phoenix Mostly Confirmed

    filmmaker Todd Phillips has more or less confirmed “Joker 2” is happening. Phillips shared images on Instagram of a script. We can clearly see the (assumed) working title, as well a shot of star Joaquin Phoenix reading pages.

    While Phillips doesn’t caption the post, or give any real details, this probably pretty solid confirmation of the long-rumored “Joker” sequel. The front page of the script has a date, May 18th, 2022, which is most likely the draft’s completion. Also notable in that Scott Silver and Phillips apparently re-teamed to co-write this film.
