Toss a Coin to Your New “The Witcher” Season 3 Cast

The Continent just got a little more crowded as “The Witcher” season 3 announced 4 new cast members. Joining Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia will be Robbie Amell, Meng’er Zhang, Hugh Skinner, and Christelle Elwin.

Amell most recently starred in Amazon’s “Upload” season 2. He’ll be playing Gallatin, the leader of guerrilla Scoia’tael from Nilfgaard.

Zhang stole the show in Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” as Xu Xialing. She’ll be joining “The Witcher” season 3 as Milva. Adopted by dryads in Brokilon Forest, Milva stands out as a human adoptee.

Skinner you may recognize from “Fleabag” or “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.”  He’ll step into the mantle of Prince Radovid. We’ll finally get a closer look at Redanian politics as Radovid and King Vizimir’s styles likely clash.

Last but not least is Elwin as Mistle – member of the Rats. Elwin has appeared in “Bloods” but is a relative newcomer to television. The Rats are a gang of teenagers who steal from the rich – and redistribute wealth to the poor, which includes themselves.

Season 2 of “The Witcher” left us with a reunited Geralt, Ciri (Freya Allan) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra). However anyone familiar with the world novelist Andrzej Sapkowski built and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich stays tonally true to know that good things rarely last. The world at large will continue to hunt Ciri. Politics will continue to unravel and devolve, and our trio of leads will continue to be at the nexus of it.

While we didn’t love season 2 as much as the first, we’re excited for these new additions. As the world and cast of “The Witcher” season 3 expands, we hope the to see reinvigoration. Catch all things “The Witcher” on Netflix.

Plus- there’s the upcoming spin off shows including the prequel: “The Witcher: Blood Origin” starring our beloved Michelle Yeoh.
