Recreating “Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope” from TV Shows

In a creative project that we can only assume took way too long to put together, Paulogia Live has remade “Star Wars: A New Hope” with only references made to it by other shows. The question posed was “If every copy of Star Wars was destroyed, could we recreate A New Hope from non-Lucasfilm projects?” Turns out the answer is yes, yes we could. Or they could, which is why we now have this 18 minute video of thrown together footage from a bunch of shows who’ve referenced it in the past.

In the video, you see everything from “Muppet Babies,” “Family Guy,” “Robot Chicken,” even “Toy Story” and many others. There are so many shows and movies mixed into this it’s fun to watch just to see if you can catch them all.

Also since I was able to get a screenshot of the “Muppet Babies” episode where they recreated “Star Wars,” I’ll add that video here as a bonus for you. Assuming you remember watching it live it’s pretty neat to see it again with adult eyes. It’s also one of the reasons I’m assuming we don’t have a classic “Muppet Babies” DVD set out because of copyright issues. Hopefully someday though.
