When you need to get out of the driveway and it’s snowing outside you could go with a shovel. It would be a million times more fun though to cosplay and torch the snow with a flamethrower though. That’s what Timothy Browning thought.
On Christmas Day, he dressed up as Cousin Eddie from “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and cleared the driveway of his Ashland, KY home.
The results? A clean driveway, a great video and maybe a little bit of charred vegetation underneath the snow.
It is creative to say the least. But the problem- and why you probably shouldn’t do it at your home- is that all that melted snow is going to turn into a giant sheet of ice at the end of the driveway. And if you’ve ever hit ice with your car, you know that isn’t a great combination even with snow tires.
