Burbank is on it’s way to becoming the next Gotham witha new addition of a 600 pound bronze statue of Batman. Standing at seven and a half feet tall you can’t help but notice the DC superhero in the AMC Walkway of Downtown Burbank. The statue was created by digital sculptor Alejandro Pereira Ezcurra and crafted by American Fine Arts Foundry and Fabrication.
City officials put up the Batman statue with the intent to create a selfie spot, and help draw people to the area. Highlighting the city’s connection to the entertainment industry through this statues addition.

If you’re wondering how safe this is to visit, they are enforcing social distancing and masks around the statue. But with all things use your best judgement. Just like Batman does.
Jim Lee, Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics (and notable Batman artist), posted some photos with the 7 and a half foot tall statue.
