Ready for something spicy to eat as the weather (hopefully) starts to get cooler? Well McDonald’s will be debuting spicy chicken McNuggets starting September 16th. They will only be out for a limited time so make sure you get your hands on them while you can! That is, if you like spicy things.

“Our customers have been asking for Spicy McNuggets for some time now,” said Linda VanGosen, vice president of menu innovation.

The new McNuggets will have a breaded tempura coating of cayenne and chili peppers. Not only that but they will come with a “Mighty Hot Sauce” which will include a blend of crushed red pepper, spicy chilies, and garlic. Both are going to be available for a limited time. They have not specified when the promotion will end.

This will be the first new McNugget item in the United States since they debuted the McNugget in 1983.
