“Stranger Things” Season 4 Could Have 9 Episodes

We’re hoping that maybe this tease of the completed “Stranger Things” season 4 scripts from the writer’s room account on Twitter is accurate. Because 9 episodes of the Duffer Brothers series sounds like just the thing to keep us looking forward to the future.

As you can see, there are roughly 9 bound scripts in that fact stack of papers, so we’re assuming that’s how many episodes we’ll be getting for season 4.

The first episode of season 4 is titled “The Hell Fire Club” possibly in reference to the notable New York Mutants-only organization from “X-Men” comics where Emma Frost reigns as the White Queen, Jason Wynngaard (aka Mastermind) as the Black King, and eventually Jean Grey as the Black Queen.

While we don’t know much about season 4, it’s safe to assume from the teaser that Chief Hopper (David Harbour), a prisoner in a Russian labor camp, will be back in some capacity. Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp will all be back, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke, and Priah Ferguson. Series moms Winona Ryder and Cara Buono will be on deck too.

No release date has been announced for season 4 of “Stranger Things” yet, but seasons 1-3 are currently streaming on Netflix.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
