Rob Liefeld Selling Original Art Pieces To Raise Money For Local Comic Shops

Because of the quarantine many shops have had to close down. Because essentially they are not important businesses to stay open. Which I understand, but I’m sorry comics give us many long hours of entertainment and collectibles that we need. in these unknown times it’s hard to try to support our local shops because, well we are forced to stay home. But one person decided that they needed to do something in order to support the comic shops around here in local Orange county California. The hero that rises? Is none other the man, the myth, the legend, Rob Liefeld himself

You probably may not know the name Rob Liefeld, but if you are familiar with the character Deadpool and Major X then yes you have heard of him. Rob Liefeld in the 90s banded together with Jim Lee, Todd McFarland, Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvestri, Jim Valentino, and Eric Larsen to create Image Comics. Comics such as Young Blood, Spawn, and Bloodstrick to name a few

Rob has been posting to Instagram to auction off some original drawings. Any auctions them off on his Instagram until 5 p.m. the next day, and 100% of the proceeds will go towards a comic shop of his choosing. Just yesterday he raised about $1,250 for Pop! Comics located in Anaheim, California.

And wouldn’t you know it, this is the next one, and I am sure all you MHA and One Punch Man fans will be excited to see this.
