    ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ Is now Streaming on Netflix

    “We accept the love, we think we deserve.” This is one of the most poignant lines from a wonderful movie. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is currently showing on Netflix, and honestly if you haven’t seen this movie you are missing out. This movie will move you and maybe help some figure things out. It also has one of the best soundtracks in the last 10 years.

    The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a movie about Charlie (Logan Lerman), a depressed teenager facing his freshman year in high school. It shows him grow and face different challenges as he meets new friends Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller), and is included in their circle. He also begins a friendship with his English teacher played by Paul Rudd.

    Through the film Charlie has his first girlfriend, which honestly could have gone worse for him but as we all do, he lives and he learns. And begins to come to terms with the tragedy that shook his life from the beginning.

    I don’t want to give too much away because this is a film that you just have to watch for yourselves. It will make you laugh, cringe, and maybe cry a little. But no matter what it does to you, you will come away with a little something more. I will leave you with another quote from the movie and hopefully this will be enough to convince you to watch it. Trust me when I say, your life will be richer for doing so. And yes we do notice you.

    “But right now these moments are not stories. This is happening. I am here and I am looking at her. And she is so beautiful. I can see it. This one moment when you know that you’re not a sad story. You are alive, and you stand up and see the lights on the buildings and everything that makes you wonder.”
