Peyton Reed, the same director who brought us Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp has signed on for a third movie. This news comes to us from an exclusive in the Hollywood Reporter.
Story details are being kept under wraps but we are excited to see Paul Rudd returning as Scott Lang once again. According to THR’s sources they’re shooting to have the movie start shooting by the end of 2020 or 2021. They’re anticipated to start as soon as Thor: Love and Thunder and Doctor Strange 2 wraps filming. Possibly to be released in 2022.
They already have one movie that we know is coming out in 2022 and that’s Black Panther in May. This could be their second or third goal for the movie they want to come out to accompany their line up for that year or possibly be the first announcement for a 2023 film. They have stated that they want to have 3 or 4 movies come out per year going forward and with their resources they can easily deliver on that promise.
