Tokyo Game Show recently released an amazing new trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Fans were so busy going ga-ga over how beautiful the fight sequences look, the inclusion of fan-favorite characters like Reno, and cool little details like the gym scene. They may have missed something awesome. Some fans are convinced Mark Hamill is in the trailer.

Listen Carefully. Fans are Convinced That’s Hamill in FFVII!

If you listen carefully you may recognize a familiar voice. He lent his talents to Star Wars, Kingdom Hearts, Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man, Avatar, The Dark Crystal, Avengers, Justice League, a few Lego video games, Regular Show, Kingsman, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Garfield, Scooby-Doo, The Boondocks, Futurama, Johnny Bravo, Stuart Little, Family Guy, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Dexter’s Laboratory, The Woody Woodpecker Show, Hamilton, Men in Black, Pinky and the Brain, Hey Arnold!, Wing Commander, Ren and Stimpy, Full Throttle, The Bill Cosby Show, and General Hospital to name a few.

Mark Hamill is no stranger to lending his voice to video games. He was in Kingdom Hearts, which is also a JRPG.

Fans are Convinced Mark Hamill is in the FFVII Remake!

Fans watched the FFVII Remake trailer, and are convinced they know Mark Hamill’s voice well, and that Don Corneo, the owner of the Honey Bee Inn, a brothel where one of the most memorable and funny scenes in FFVII occur, is voiced by no other.

Could Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) be the voice behind Don Corneo in the Final Fantasy VII Remake?
Could Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) be the voice behind Don Corneo?

We are excited about this addition. Mark Hamill is a prolific and talented voice actor, well known as arguably the best Joker. This may be the best version of Don Corneo the world has ever seen.

We can’t wait to hear him bring his talents to the classic seedy jokes that make the awkward Honey Bee Inn scene so dear to many of our hearts.

What do you think? Could it be? Reddit thinks so.

    Leiko

It's possible that Leiko is a masochist. She's an introvert who has a full-time job working with teachers and students on making video games, and robots out of Legos. She's a sloth who chose to have kids, and all the all-consuming aspects involved with that. If you see her in public, she's most likely caffeinated on milk tea and sea salt coffee (simultaneously) while Yelping, and taking photos. Her heroes include the Onion Knight from Game of Thrones who went from nothing to an educated man who stands up for the Shireens of the world, as well as for the proper usage of grammar. Long live the Oxford Comma.
