Harley Race who won numerous titles within the WWE(then WWF) has passed away at the age of 76. He lost battling lung cancer and had been recently hospitalized. He was scheduled to make an appearance at the Knoxville Fan Expo but was still hospitalized at the time.
Born April 11, 1943 Harley Leland Race was the 8x NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He was also WWF King of the Ring (1986), 3x AWA World Tag Team Champion and was in the NWA Hall of Fame, WCW Hall of Fame and the WWE Hall of Fame.
