According to Sophie K from UK’s Kerrang Radio, Green Day will premiere their first new single in three years. Their last Album being Revolution Radio which came out in 2016.
While only one new song has been announced there is excitement at the prospect of a new album from the band. We will know more soon after the single hits the airwaves on the 19th at 5 pm BST(British Summer Time). For those of you on the California coast that means 9am.
They announced the new information via Instagram where @the_green_day_fans posted an audio clip of how they found out about the new single.
“What I love is that Julia got in touch when I said, I wanted new Green Day, and she went ‘Yep, it’s coming!’”
