Daughters of Bill and Ted Cast for “Face the Music”

Bill & Ted 3 aka Bill & Ted Face the Music has added the next generation to the cast. Samara Weaving (as Thea Preston) and Brigette Lundy-Paine (as Billie Logan) will play the daughters of the now middle-aged Bill and Ted and will accompany their fathers on their latest time-travel quest to save the universe. They join returning stars Alex Winter (Bill S. Preston Esq), Keanu Reeves (Ted “Theodore” Logan), and William Sadler (Death).

Producer Scott Kroopf said of the casting: “When we saw Samara and Brigette together, it was like deja vu. It was exactly the way we felt when we first saw Keanu and Alex. We are so thrilled to have this funny and unique pair join the Bill and Ted team!”

The daughters in the film are most likely the product of Bill and Ted’s romances with time-displaced princesses from the previous films. It appears that the characters have named their children after each other. In Face the Music, Bill and Ted are leading rather mundane lives and have yet to write the song that will bring peace to the universe. A visitor from the future warns that they need to do that – stat.

Bill and Ted Face the Music is a sequel to 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, which introduced Sadler as Death.

Bill and Ted Face the Music will arrive in theaters August 21, 2020.

The movie’s official twitter announced the casting with this pic captioned ” Meet the world’s most excellent daughters! “
