Promoting the Fruits Basket reboot the first two episodes will be shown in select theaters this March. The English Dub will be shown on March 26th and the Japanese version shown the 27th.

When the new Fruits Basket series was announced fans of the series were skeptical. We weren’t sure if they were going to do right by the series that we know and love. We started hearing more about it when they announced the cast and staff but when Funimation started announcing that we would be getting most of the old voice actors back we began to really get excited.

For the return of the series they have Laura Bailey returning as Tohru Honda, Eric Vale as Yuki Sohma, Jerry Jewell as Kyo Sohma, John Burgmeier as Shigure Sohma, and Justin Cook as Hatsuharu Sohma. The newer additions to the English voice cast include Tia Ballard as Kagura Sohma, Mikaela Krantz as Momiji Sohma, Elizabeth Maxwell as Arisa Uotani, and Jad Saxton as Saki Hanajima.

For many of us one of our first anime was Fruits Basket and we are excited to see the story be told to completion. The first run of the series only covered so much of the manga and those who have read it know there is so much more! Like who Tohru ends up with for instance! No spoilers here, just go watch it!
