Are you ready for a foldable phone?
Though Back To The Future II told us we’d have flying cars and hover boards by now, this might be the next best thing.
In it’s yearly developer conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, Samsung officially announced that it will launch a foldable smartphone some time in 2019.
“When it’s open, it’s a tablet, offering a big-screen experience,” said Samsung VP of mobile marketing Justin Denison. “When it’s closed, it’s a phone that fits neatly inside your pocket.”
So a combo Tablet / Mobile phone sounds very practical as we see laptops phasing out from the commuter marketplace rather quickly.
I for one will opt-in for this new technology! Of course, there’s about 100 questions that still needs to be answered like..BATTERY LIFE and HOW MUCH!
