Kevin Smith To Host DC Daily Kick Off Party This Week

Kevin Smith, we all know who he is. For over twenty years the man has done pretty much everything you can do in show business; director, actor, writer, and of course, perpetual podcaster. He’s been on so many podcasts you’d wonder how he had the time to recover from an unfortunate heart attack, then lose all that weight. No joke, he looks great! Congratulations bro.

He recently shared a photo on Instagram.

Deadline.com reported last week that Silent Bob himself will be getting a show to be aired on DC’s new streaming service, DC Universe.

Warner Brothers is going to host a DC Daily kickoff event on August 29th at 4:30 pm, PST. The “daily” show will provide viewers with an in depth, behind the scenes look into the platform’s content and characters. Smith, a true lover of all things comic book culture proves to be the ideal candidate for the job. He’s involved in so many things you could easily forget he owns a comic book store in Red Bank, New Jersey. If you’ve ever listened to his thoughts, he radiates a comprehension of the genre like no other.

DC Universe has been making major plays for programming. Titans looks very interesting and Doom Patrol is turning into something worthy of discussion.

Who knows, maybe DC is getting their stuff together?
