Disneyland’s new “Princess and the Frog” themed restaurant Tiana’s Palace will be opening this fall! The re-theme for the previous French Market restaurant and Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square was first announced back in January. Tiana’s Palace will be a quick-service-style, the menu will feature items inspired by New Orleans flavors. It aims to expand on current fan-favorite dishes, while exploring seasonal options. Gritty, the Philadelphia Flyers mascot, is getting his own wall calendar for 2024. The big orange furry creature, who makes some serious eye contact, has become a viral celebrity in his five years. His antics at Flyers games are a source for hilarious entertainment. He definitely reminds one of another big furry mascot, but that one is purple. The Gritty calendar pictures were taken by Pel Productions. The orange mascot shared some of the photos to his Instagram account. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is proving aliens exist below the Earth’s surface, with the deep sea Glass Squid. Seeing as we only know about 5% of what lurks in the ocean, it makes sense that any deep sea life is compared to aliens. Even the United States government is confirming the existence of aliens beyond our skys. The footage of the Glass Squid was taken by researches on the NOAA ship, Okeanos Explorer. On October 14th, the “Ring of Fire” annular solar eclipse will be visible across several states in North America. Sky-watchers across North, Central, and South America will see a partial eclipse, lasting for about three hours. The area in the path resulting in a full view will have a few minutes to witness the eclipse. The next annular eclipse will occur on April 8th, 2024, viewable from parts of North and Central America. The Critical Role Foundation has donated $30k to help residents of Maui from the recent wildfire. The money was donated to the Hawaii Community Fund. Maui has recently suffered sever damage to the western side of the island due to intense wildfires. The Maui wildfire started in the early hours of August 8th, 2023. No official cause for the fire has been discovered, but high winds from Hurricane Dora aided in the destruction. These wildfires are being called the deadliest natural disaster in Hawaii history. Currently there several fires still burning, the Lahaina fire was last reported at 85% containment.…

Netflix’s “Stranger Things” continues to be a Halloween staple since it’s debut in 2016. This year, the hit series has inspired a life-sized Demogorgon yard decoration. Gemmy Industries has created an 8 foot tall animatronic of the terrifying creature, so you can scare the pants off your neighbors. This is the latest merchandise created for fans missing the show. A Florida woman is facing additional charges after attempting to erase evidence of murder by pouring Diet Mountain Dew over herself. Nichole Maks was in police custody under suspicion of murder of her roommate, 79-year-old Michael Cerasoli. She asked police for the soda, then “poured it all over herself,” attempting to scrub away any forensic evidence from her body. Daytona Police have added a “tampering with evidence” charge along with resisting arrest with violence and premeditated first-degree murder. Cerasoli’s death was first noted on July 1st, after firefighters responded to a smoldering home at 1:46am. He was found lying facedown…

Subject of the 2009 film “The Blind Side” Michael Oher is alleging some pretty serious things about the Tuohy family. The retired NFL player has filed suit claiming the family never adopted him, and instead, forced him into questionable conservatorship when he was 18. The deal gave the Tuohys legal authority over his business deals, along with using his name and likeness. Oher began living with Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy and their two children while attending high school in Tennessee. Shoppers were shocked to find a 6 foot boa constrictor inside a cart on August 12th. Animal control was sent to the Target located on Sunnybrook Drive in Sioux City, Iowa around 11:30am. The Columbian red boa constrictor was found in a cart inside one of the cart corrals. The snake wasn’t noticed until it was inside the store. Sioux City Police were contacted, but are still unsure if store employees or customers saw the snake first. Animal control believes the snake was placed into the cart intentionally. A new indoor theme park is opening soon in Arizona. Mattel Adventure Park will be home to attractions inspired by their most popular toys. The 9-acre theme park is set for just outside of Phoenix, and will be almost completely indoors. This means air-conditioned, so park goers will not have to worry about 114+ scorching temperatures. The four main areas we currently know about the park will be dedicated to Hot Wheels, He-Man, Barbie, and Thomas the Tank Engine. There is also a mini-golf course that will be themed around Mattel games. The fast rollercoasters will be Hot Wheels inspired.…
