After debuting at Florida’s Popcorn Frights on August 11th, we have a clip from “Big Easy Queens.” The queer horror comedy is definitely a “B” movie, but an enjoyable one if B movies are your thing. It’s “pure queer horror,” complete with drag queens, voodoo, zombies, musical numbers, glitter, and campy gore. The steamy underworld of New Orleans will never be the same. Mob Queen of the Quarter, Minnie Bouvèé (Eric Swanson), has ordered the brutal massacre of her competition’s, Poodles Makenzie (Jennifer McClain), crew. As she awaits the fallout, a masked figure begins following her, leaving bouquets of gardenias…

The trailer is amazing and the animation gives off a cleaner, more polished look to the classic “Adventure Time” style. Fionna and her ordinary cat, Cake, live in a “boring” mundane world, but Fionna has dreams of a magical world. It appears that…

On August 18th, a federal judge upheld the finding that art generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not open to copyright protection. The finding was first delivered by the U.S. Copyright Office back in March 2023. U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell’s ruling was to turn down Stephen Thaler’s bid challenging the government’s stance refusing to register works created by AI. Thaler has been the main driving force behind getting the generated work protected by copyright. He is the Chief Executive of the neural network firm, Imagination Engines. In 2018 he listed the artwork “A Recent Entrance to Paradise,” as being…
The skeletal remains of a young Medieval girl were found face down with the ankles possibly tied. Archaeologist believe these extra measures were taken to ensure she would not “return” from her grave. According to the Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA), the remains were found in the pit of an Early Medieval settlement near Conington. skeleton The original excavation was between 2016 and 2018, but the skeleton was only recently examined. MOLA speculates that the medieval girl was of a lower class and treated as an “other,” by the means she was buried. Early Medieval England may not have had…

For some reason, 2023 is the year for crimes against food. Possum Candy Canes are a real thing, thanks to Archie McPhee and their eclectic candy flavors. Christmas will truly never be the same, not with this flavor on the market. The nocturnal creature, known for taking better pictures from the front and not the side, isn’t something normally associated with a candy flavor. Archie McPhee insists the canes contain the “garbage-fueled flavor” of possums. Apparently possums have a porky flavor from all their garbage rummaging. The package contains a set of six 5-1/4″ canes colored pink and grey. They…
Japanese kawaii-metal band BABYMETAL has partnered with Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello for a new song! “METALI!!” is their first release since being “reborn” with new member, MOMOMETAL, and latest album, “The Other One,” which released this March. All three members, SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL perform the song while dancing to the beat. Morello makes an appearance at 2:15 to perform his minute-long guitar part to end the song. Morello is a self-proclaimed big fan of…
