Annnnnd Awards Season is well and truly upon us. Tonight, the 83rd Golden Globes are taking place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, CA. This just in-2026 marks 25 years since the release of Sir Peter Jackson’s first “The Lord of the Rings” film, “The Fellowship of the Ring.” We’ve already covered several stories about the landmark anniversary, but we’re not done yet! Shocking no one, sounds like Disney’s upcoming live-action “Tangled” is eyeing a particular witch to join the cast. No stranger to the dark arts, Kathryn Hahn (“Agatha All Along”) is reportedly in talks to play Mother Gothel. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Disney announced the casting of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the upcoming live-action “Tangled.” Teagan Croft will play Rapunzel, and Milo Manheim will play Flynn. Croft actually played Raven in the live-action “Titans” DC Comics tv series. Manheim starred in four of Disney’s “Zombies” films. Michael Gracey (“The Greatest Showman”) will direct.
