Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

We’re pretty darn excited for another Marvel Studios’ series making its way to Disney+, “She-Hulk!” “Orphan Black” star Tatiana Maslany heads the show as Jennifer Walters, lawyer by day, hero by…day. Maybe you’ll recognize another familiar green face who helps Walters’ out, Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) still in his Hulk form. Perhaps our favorite flash from the tease? Shulkie’s beautifully toned green legs in those signature white wedge sneakers! Okay okay so, “Moon Knight” is coming, and we are SO DAMN EXCITED to see Oscar Isaac take on the iconic Marvel Comics’ cape. These are all images viewable in the official “Marvel Studios Disney+ Day 2021” 15-minute featurette available on Disney+ now. We heard rumors for most of last year that a new “X-Men The Animated Seres” was coming to Disney+. And as of today, we can totally confirm that as happening! And boy does the House of Mouse know their audience. It’ll be called “X-Men 97,” and that’s sorta all we know so far. Well, aside from the fact that’ll be coming in 2023. And, that AJ Locasio (“Voltron: Legendary Defender,” “Star Wars: Forces of Destiny”) is voicing SOMEONE. The original “X-Men The Animated Series” is available to stream on Disney+ now.

We’ve been waiting for some kind of official first look at the return of The Sanderson Sisters for “Hocus Pocus 2.” Today, the House of Mouse gave it to us during Disney+ Day!We know the film will be bringing new faces as well as returning favorites. This just in- “Crazy Rich Asians” director Jon M. Chu will take on his first animated project. “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” is a much beloved classic from celebrated author Dr. Seuss, and is getting an animated film from Warner Bros. Pictures. We know that Chu is currently working on a feature film based on the hugely popular musical “Wicked.” This isn’t the only Dr. Seuss property being adapted, either.
