Author: Mary Anne Butler

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

This is one of those surprise commercials that brought various emotions bubbling to the surface. Chevy’s all-electric Silverado commercial reunited Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Robert Iler, who played Meadow and AJ Soprano respectively in David Chase’s hit HBO series “The Sopranos.” It’s…strange…to see Sigler reenact the iconic opening of the series, complete with Alabama 3’s “Woke Up This Morning.” Chevy has since released a behind-the-scenes featurette about the commercial.

Understandably, fans want it NOW. Some outlets, apparently, do too. IGN, one of the pinnacles of pop-culture genre journalism, reported recently that they alone knew the release date of the upcoming series. Gaiman refuted this report. The author indicated that while principal filming is complete, post production is currently underway. So, make of…

Saxon of Clan Vizsla was the ruthless leader of the Imperial Super Commandos — Mandalorians loyal to the Empire. His armor featured a threatening color scheme of red and white, with the Imperial cog emblazoned on his shoulders. Word is Ray Stevenson will be playing a villain. We’re kind of hoping he’ll be bringing Gar Saxon…
