Artist turned publisher Jim Lee has added yet another title to his collection for DC Comics. Lee, who has served as publisher and CCO (Chief Creative Officer) of the industry giant, has been given a promotion. He is now the President of DC. For those familiar with Lee and his work, this seems like a “duh finally” move. He’s been one of the driving forces behind the brand for several years. We are BEYOND excited to share the official trailer for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ upcoming sequel film, “Dune: Part Two.” Once again hailing from visionary director Denis Villeneuve, “Part Two” will continue the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal piece of science fiction. SHAI HULUD! We are finally getting our first look at the upcoming film “Dune: Part Two.” Director Denis Villeneuve’s sequel just got a first look teaser, which shows some VERY important faces. While the teaser is short, we do see new footage of Muad Dib (Paul) placing a thumper, probably to call a large sandworm. This just in-it would appear Pedro Pascal, star of Disney+’s “The Mandalorian” and HBO’s “The Last of Us” is boarding Sir Ridley Scott’s long gestating “Gladiator 2.” As we, and other outlets hear it, Pascal is in final negotiations to join the cast, which already includes Connie Nielsen, Denzel Washington, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn, and Paul Mescal, who will star as grown up Lucius.Scott himself will direct, from a script by David Scarpa.Paramount has already dated the project, which has not started filming yet, to release on November 22nd, 2024.

We are sorry to report on the passing of controversial yet iconic television host, Jerry Springer. The former Mayor of Cincinnati rocketed to national fame following the launch of his daytime talk show. Happy Alien Day! It’s April 26th, which is the day fans of Ridley Scott’s original “Alien” and James Cameron’s followup “Aliens” celebrate all things Xenomorph and Weyland-Yutani. This morning, filmmaker Fede Alvarez shared an image, seemingly confirming production on his upcoming “Alien: Romulus” film has begun. David Jonsson (“Industry“), Archie Renaux (“Shadow and Bone“), Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu have joined already announced star Cailee Spaeny in the project from 20th Century Studios. Andy Muschietti‘s long-gestating DC Comics film “The Flash” is finally releasing, and a brand new trailer has debuted during CinemaCon. Starring Ezra Miller, “The Flash” also boasts the return of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman. Not to mention, Michael Shannon as Zod, and the introduction of Sasha Calle as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl! Two new posters were also shared today: “The Flash” hits theaters June 16th, 2023.

We are absolutely beside ourselves with excitement! While footage shown during CinemaCon, happening right now in Las Vegas, doesn’t usually make it’s way to the public, we’re REALLY hoping it does this time. Warner Bros. Pictures is in the middle of their presentation, and happened to show a very important sizzle reel.Footage included “Furiosa,” the prequel film to George Miller’s “Mad Max: Fury Road” starring Anya Taylor-Joy as the character originally portrayed by Charlize Theron.
