Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

Zack Snyder’s upcoming Netflix flick “Rebel Moon” just added some pretty amazing talent. The cast is already pretty stacked- think “Army of the Dead,” but better. That said, we’ve got Sir Anthony Hopkins to look forward to now! As we can report from Netflix’s official casting announcement, Hopkins will be voicing Jimmy, a sentient robot. Apparently, Jimmy was the former defender of a King, and that sounds pretty perfect for Hopkins. We already knew Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Corey Stoll, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Cary Elwes, Alfonso Herrera, and Jena Malone were on cast.…

This just in-filmmaker Todd Phillips has more or less confirmed “Joker 2” is happening. Phillips shared images on Instagram of a script. We can clearly see the (assumed) working title, as well a shot of star Joaquin Phoenix reading pages. While Phillips doesn’t caption the post, or give any real details, this probably pretty solid confirmation of the long-rumored “Joker” sequel. The front page of the script has a date, May 18th, 2022, which is most likely the draft’s completion. Also notable in that Scott Silver and Phillips apparently re-teamed to co-write this film.

It’s a burning question I’m sure we’ve all wanted to ask. What does Tim Burton think of the late Joel Schumacher’s choice to put nipples on the Batsuit? Burton brought the capped crusader to cinema in a big way with “Batman” 1989 and “Batman Returns” in 1992 with star Michael Keaton. Schumacher…continued a film franchise with new actors. And, more importantly for our purposes here- a new Batsuit. With nipples. In 2018, Schumacher actually apologized for his bat-choices in “Batman & Robin.” “Look, I apologize,” Schumacher said. “I want to apologize to every fan that was disappointed because I think…
