A study conducted by O2 and behavioral science expert Patrick Fagan found that attending concerts regularly can add up to 9 years to your life. Based on the logic that seeing live music increases feelings of self-worth, closeness to others, and mental stimulation. Guitar legend Tony Iommi made a surprise appearance at the opening of a new Black Sabbath-based ballet at The Hippodrome Theatre. The theater is, fittingly, located in the iconic rock band’s hometown of Birmingham, United Kingdom. The ballet is directed by Carlos Acosta and Ballet Now, and commissioned by Birmingham Royal Ballet. The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has struck a tentative deal with The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). This tentative three year deal includes restrictions on A.I., minimum staffing in television writers’ rooms, and a viewership-based streaming bonus. It also includes provisions that perserve a second “step” for screenwriter deals, higher foreign residuals, and annual minimum pay increases of 5%, 4%, and 3.5%. Streamer Apple TV+ will air the four-part documentary “The Enfield Poltergeist.” Which tells the story of the haunting of a London family in the 1970s centering around sisters Janet and Margaret Hodgson. A case so infamous that it inspired James Wan’s 2016 film “The Conjuring 2.” “The Enfield Poltergeist,” was created through culling over more than 250 hours of audio archives.
